Mountain High cowl and headband patterns PDF.
Mountain High is a cowl for ethical knitters who support fair trade, sustainable development, and woman empowerment.
I was in awe at first sight of this yarn I could trace back to the Mongolian mountains where it came from, and that bore the mark of the Nepalese women who spun it. So I really wanted to showcase the beauty of this handspun yarn, in appreciation of the labour and skill it took to make the skeins I held in my hands.
Mountain High is worked in the round, and plain two-colour brioche stitch highlights the handspun quality of the yarn, showing off and celebrating every light variation in tension and thickness.
